Become Vestel Certified Fiber Optic Technician
Program Objective: Optical fiber cable (OFC) network is widely used in all communication field where OFC techinicians are required to do fiber link budget /loss calculation and also do the testing of OFC link for proper operation. Candidate will undergo 2 days (full time) training and become Vestel Certified Optical fiber Technician.
Duration : 02 days ( 10.00 am To 05.00 pm ) – Class room with Lab session

Training Fee : Rs 12000 ( Rs Twelve thousand only ) + GST , per candidate
Pre-requisites : Only Vestel certified Splicer are eligible to attend this program and Minimum educational qualification should be Diploma and above.
Who should attend : Splicer who wants to become Fiber Optics Technician.
Practical Hands-on : Candidate will work with OTDR, Power meter, Laser source , PON power meter and link budget calculations.
Certification : Exam will be conducted at the end of program. Certification will be provided to who clears the exam. This can be used for Job opportunity.
Course Content :
- 1. Introduction to db, dbm and its application.
- 2. OFC wavelength and its losses.
- 3.Overview of OFC projects done for back bone, access and FTTH network.
- 4. How link budget calculation done.
- 5. How to maintain fade margin. Why it is required.
- 6. Practical use of OTDR on measuring overall health of OFC network . How?
- 7. How to do measurement by using Power meter , PON power meter and Laser source.
Terms and Conditions :

- 3. Fee to be paid : Training fee of Rs 12000 with GST of 18%. Amount to be paid= Rs 12000 + Rs 2160 (GST) = Total Rs 14160.
